Armenian Heritage
Armenian carpets have told our stories for centuries — through color, pattern, and texture. Each thread reflects our people’s deep connection to the land, to craft, and to tradition.
At ArmWool, we are bringing this heritage back to life.
From Sheep to Symbol
Armenia's wool was once the backbone of our famous carpets. Raised in highland pastures, local sheep provided strong, natural fiber that women spun, dyed with plants, and wove into symbols of family, memory, and identity.
Over time, this tradition faded — replaced by imported wool, synthetic fibers, and mass production.
We're changing that.
A New Beginning
ArmWool is rebuilding the Armenian wool value chain. We work with shepherds, spinners, and weavers across rural communities to revive ethical, traceable, local production — from sheep to final product.
Using technology like blockchain, we’re making it possible to trace each carpet’s story — who raised the sheep, who spun the wool, who dyed and wove it.
It’s heritage, made visible again.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about wool — it’s about pride, jobs, and connection. Every carpet made with Armenian wool supports rural women, strengthens local economies, and honors our cultural legacy.
When you choose an ArmWool product, you carry centuries of tradition into the future.
