On 12–13 June, Arm.wool participated in the first-ever Nordic Days Armenia, presenting a new vision for Armenian wool—one that connects biodiversity, circular economy, cultural heritage, and rural livelihoods.

Together with the Fashion and Garment Chamber of Armenia and Swedish partners, Arm.wool showcased the country's wool value chain, taking visitors on a journey from raw fleece to yarn, natural dyeing, weaving, carpets, and contemporary design. The pavilion featured live spinning demonstrations by the women of the Amasia Spinning Center, felting workshops, naturally dyed textiles, and products created by Armenian designers and partners.

A special highlight was the visit of Roger Bush, one of Europe's leading experts in wool value chains and circular textiles. His discussions with the Arm.wool team highlighted the importance of international collaboration in building resilient and sustainable natural fibre ecosystems.

As part of the festival programme, Arm.wool Project Lead Ani Mkrtchyan joined the panel discussion "Fashion Forever!", exploring how local materials, transparency, and circular design are shaping the future of sustainable fashion.

Throughout the festival, Arm.wool shared one simple message: Armenian wool is not waste—it is a valuable natural resource. By rebuilding the country's wool value chain, the initiative is creating opportunities for rural communities, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and demonstrating how innovation—including Digital Product Passports and traceability—can strengthen both people and nature.

Nordic Days Armenia was an important milestone for Arm.wool, creating new partnerships and reinforcing a shared vision for a more transparent, circular, and nature-positive textile future.
